New to this group. Came becuase I wanted to know if there is a way to
find out how many searches have been initiated for a given word or
combination of words. For instance, if I want to learn how many
searches were initiated for "pink toasters" during the last
week/month/year, is there a way? I came accross Google's Zeitgeist at
http://www.google.com/press/zeitgeist.html which lists the top ranking
searches by catagory, but I need a way to look up the search statistics
for particular terms. So, is it possible?? Looking forward to all
replies.

its not possible for google.
however, you could use
http://inventory.overture.com/d/sear...ry/suggestion/ which gives
an idication of most popular phrases ***ociated with a word on there
network and ***ume proportional that google is about the same.

BTW.... 44 people searched for pink toasters last month
