Default Helpful tips I wanted to share with others. - 06-04-2007, 05:56 AM

When I started SEO I didn't have a holding hand or someone to guide
me. So I want to join a group and share my knowledge and learn from
others about SEO & SEM. Here is where I would start. I find it
helpful to craft an experimental web page with in your own domain and
the start establishing your link exchanges. Be sure to link with
creditable web sites. Also optimize your site so that it can be
interpreted by the crawlers. Keep track of where your hts are coming
from. Who ever is giving you the best return emphasize on that link.
Be friendly and know how to share. Do not cheat or think that you're
smarter than the search engines. For example: don't over load your
web page with repeated keywords, specially with hidden keywords that
are camouflaged in to the background; this may eventually end up
working against you. Remember to allow up to 6 months before you see
any changes or progress. If you want to see a sample of what I have
created you can visit my web site at http://www.efriedman.com/ice_machines.html.
If you have any ideas e-mail me: EMAIL REMOVED. Good luck and
my best wishes.

NO. Links exchanges are being devalued. Forget about link exchanges
and get one way links to your site.

NO. Build sites for users, NOT seach engine crawlers.

You obviously failed at that page is not even in Google's index. I
***ume you posted here to get a link to that page, but it won't
work.

yes link trades are no longer advisable as google is pretty tired on this one because of excessive linking. So better focus on one way link that reciprocals.

I agree,.

repeated keywords and hidden keywords are form of black hat techniques and once you are caught by google your site might be penalized,. Penalized, meaning your SERP will surely drop on google
