Default google inaccuracies - 05-14-2007, 04:22 PM

I have carried out the following search :-
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...ford.co.uk/%22
unfortunately this has failed to detect most of the links to my site.
I have asked Google about this but as usual they have been
unhelpful, obstructive and behaved in a generally unethical manner.
Has anyone else solved this problem, incidently it is only Google and
other google led SE's that I have had this problem with.

>unhelpful, obstructive and behaved in a generally unethical manner.

Why should Google answer anyone who asks quetions about their site. YOU
are not a customer and do not pay them for this free listing service.

>Has anyone else solved this problem,

If you took the time to read here, you will notice that this is NOT a
problem and the same question gets asks here almost every day.

Google have only ever shown a small sample of links to any site and
NEVER them all. What they choose to show in the sample has nothing to
do with what they know about and what they use in their rankings.

>incidently it is only Google and
>other google led SE's that I have had this problem with

Google choose to deliberatly show a sample and so do others - the
others just show more sites (if not all) in the sample.

There is no "google inaccuracies"

If you go to this site:
http://www.widexl.com/remote/search-...aturation.html
and simply fill in your site name you will get a return on how many
pages are in the Google index.

I am afraid I very much beg to differ from you. If google wish to
enhance their search engine by showing details of websites this should
be accurate and fair. If you trouble to cross reference my site
www.timbrayford.co.uk with google's "no links" claim you might
understand a little better why I have had cause to mention this
problem.

You are welcome to differ. But ask the same question on the 100 or so
other webmaster or search engine forums out there and you will get the
same answer.

Sometimes the sample has no links in it. It is not a problem.

seo101 I am afraid you are not correct. My problem lies not simply with
the sample but with advanced searches as well. If you cannot think of
something sensible to say kindly crawl back into the hole from which
you emerged.

I type this really slow so you get it:

Its not a problem.
You will get exactly the same answer on any one of the 100 or so other
webmaster or search engine forums.

se101 I have contacted this forum wth a bona fide problem on the advice
of google themselves. To you it would appear to be merely an
opportunity to behave an an unacceptable manner ( having looked at your
comments to others). Fortunately other respondents have been more
helpful and positive, I shall nevertheless be informing google of your
comments
