Default keep your laws off my Google... - 05-14-2007, 11:19 AM

I just wanted to add my words of support for Google's decision to
resist the subpoena asking them to turn over data on web searches (and
those who make them) to the US Government. Of course, this is all in
the name of "protecting the children..." Isn't it always... ugh.

Shame on MSN, Yahoo, and AOL for giving in. I will probably NOT be
renewing my SBC/Yahoo internet service contract due to this.

Bravo to Google for refusing to comply with this request/demand.

Send Google some love.

Send the Feds, MSN, Yahoo, and AOL something else...

I also would like to voice my support for Google's decision. As a
responsible parent with two children I would rather rely on my own
ability to monitor their computer use than the government.

The government should focus on improving their investigative procedures
instead of going on vast and general fishing expeditions in private
databases.

Shame on MSN, Yahoo and AOL.

Another voice here supporting Google's decision not to comply with the
subponea. This is just another attempt by our government to over extend
its power and invade our privacy. I applaud Google for standing up for
whats right and in doing so standing up for our rights.
