I've read through the Guidelines for Use of Google Brand Features
(http://www.google.com/permissions/guidelines.html) and I'm still
unsure if I should be submitting a Permission Request Form.

I'm an university student and I wanted to take a screenshot of the
Google Maps with a couple locations pointed out. It will be used in an
academic presentation that has nothing to do with Google. Do I still
have to submit a Permission Request Form?
