Default "Advanced" listing on Google ?? - 05-14-2007, 01:52 AM

If you go to Google and search for "cl***ic cars for sale" the top listing
(www.cl***iccarsforsale.co.uk) is ours.

If you look at the listing it is strange, has the usual search result, then
4 lines and "more results from" ... this has only happenned today.

I am ***uming this is because Google has realised the site is large (althogh
page rank still only 4/10) so I am ***uming it is a good thing.

I have not seen this before, but now realise that Google do it for
news.bc.co.uk and www.digg.com

Am I right in thinking this is a very good thing?

Thanks

Yep -- they've been doing this for a good few months now: expanding the
top search result to show a few extra links from the site. They don't
appear to do it on all searches -- I've not figured out the pattern.

It looks like they do the top result if the site is "big" - although how
they determine "big" I do not know ...

On a similar theme, "morris minor for sale" returns my site at the
top, but I obviously dont qualify as 'big' since I just get the first
and an indented second listing!

It has been happening for some time, but from
what I have seen google appear to have
rolled it out a bit more since Sunday.
