That can be worked around[1], but Karl never specified the length of time
he needed to record for anyway.

1. A new recording is limited to 60 seconds, but it is possible to record
*over* an existing longer recording. So make a 60 second blank
recording and use Sound Recorder's "Decrease Speed" feature to double
its length to 120 seconds, then 240 seconds, 480 seconds, etc --
however much you need. Then record over that.

I've used Total Recorder from http://www.HighCriteria.com for several
years and I love it.

Nah, he's just grinding his favorite ax. :-)

However, the group's FAQ is quite clear on this point; it is acceptable
to post one's url if it appropriately addresses a question or issue that
has been raised.

Though it would be better if he also summarized the point of the article
that the url references.
