My server has been down for over 14 hours and godaddy won't/can't give
me an answer as to why it is down, when it will be back
up...NOTHING!!!!

Anyone experiecing problems with GoDaddy. I decided a couple of weeks
ago to stop hosting with GoDaddy, this experience is just re***uring me
that I made the right decision.

no. use sometimes for domreg, check parson's new godaddy girl
commercials here and there. no more than a couple times a day tho.

Actually, I HAVE decided to stop hosting with GoDaddy, I just haven't
executed yet. I wish I had executed sooner rather then later,
obviously.

Instead of posting here with a complaint, why are you not switching
everything immediately and drop GoDaddy?

If you read my post, you would have noticed I said my server is down
(How am I going to move my site) and my reason for posting was to
inquire if anyone else was experiecing problems with GoDaddy as well.
Are you experiencing a problem with your GoDaddy server? No? Then why
reply?

Instead of replying to posts with comments that make no sense, why not
just ingnore the post if you can't relate to the problem I'm having or
answer the question I'm asking?

See if this makes sense:

What difference does it make if anyone else is having problems with
GoDaddy? You are, and that's all that counts. If you're not happy,
leave them.

As for moving your site, where is your local backup? That's the first
rule of web development - backup, backup, backup.

I have had some bad experiences with godaddy...:

1. Yes they are big, but they cram the servers with as many sites as
they can get
2. They make you pay for phone support
3. It takes them 24+ hours to respond by email
4. When the website is down they blame it on you
5. They dont allow chmod on some servers becasue quote "It messes up
other accounts"

I made my own hosting business to help others not piss them off
