My recommendation would be to use Spam******in, with at least the
following options/extensions:
* Baysian scanning
* Razor 2
* Pyzor
* DCC
* SURBL
I'd also recommend AmavisD-new, which is a sort of gateway between common
Linux mail servers (you didn't mention what SMTP server you use!) and many
common anti-virus/anti-spam systems. Personally I use AmavisD-new with
Spam******in and Clam Antivirus both at work and at home. I've also
configured my mail server (Postfix) to use a handful of DNS black hole
services before the message even hits AmavisD-new. I'm getting about a 3%
false negitive and negligable false positive rate at work; and about 98.5%
false negitive, negligable false positive at home.
