Default Visual SourceSafe - 06-04-2007, 09:46 AM

Is anyone aware of any problems with using Visual SourceSafe or any
reason why not to use it? I currently use it with my VB code but have
a person saying that Microsoft is not using it themselves because of
problems.

We have an installation at work, with several large projects and a dozen
smaller ones, that has been working fine for about four years now. There
is no problem with basic data integrity, etc. I have seen newsgroup
posts complaining about the way it handles files shared between
projects, or how it handles files checked out by two users at once, but
those are feature issues, not stability issues.
