Google Page Rank is mostly calculated on your back links, as in the
amount of other sites linking to yours, and the quality of each one.
Acquire quality links to your site (without link exchanges or other
linking schemes designed to boost your link popularity), and you'll
see your Google PR grow. It also helps if the sites linking to you
are in similar categories of websites, especially if the link to your
site benefits the user, which is what Google ultimately wants.
