Default Server crash - how to retrieve mysql databases - 06-04-2007, 07:58 AM

Hello All,

We have had our web server die (hardware failure). We have setup
another server and is working fine. The problem is that we need to
retrieve the mysql databases from the old server. We have access to
the hard drive, as we have slaved it off a windows pc and can get
access to the folders and files.

We think we have also found the location where the databases are
stored (/usr/var/lib/mysql/) The file extensions in this location are
in the formats .myd, .myi, .frm

How can we import these files into our new server using phpmyadmin or
is there another way of importing these?

Your help is greatly appreciated.
