Default Migrating with the Agent Based Migration - 06-04-2007, 06:58 AM

This is probably a simple question, so excuse me, but I can't find an
answer. I have a MySQL V 3.23.58 running on my current server. I am building
a new server and have installed MySQL V 5.0.32. The new server is Debian
Etch and the Migration Toolkit is not available. I do most of my
administration from my Windows machine, so I installed the Administrator,
Query Browser, Workbench, and Migration Toolkit. When I try to migrate from
one server to another the "Agent Based Migration" is grayed out. What are my
options? I can copy the directories from /var/lib/mysql, but I thought a
more managed process would help find any incompatibilities in my schemas. I
have no connectivity problems with either server from my desktop.

Thanks,

Mark
