Can anyone give me some good online resource links that cover the
basics? Learning SQL (the language). I have installed MySQL and the
community server and tools WinXP) seem fine to learn with.

So now what? I have learned CREATE, USE, SELECT and FROM reserved
words and I want to know more but the mySQL manual only lists the
reserved words... How do I know what they mean?

I'm taking a 6 week online Intro to SQL course but its going to be
pretty generic at the end of the day and I was hoping to also take the
training time I've been given to really explore SQL.

So, any online resources, books, or other resources or advice members
of this group may want to offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thet's the whole point of SQL, it IS pretty generic!
