What kind of forums do you like?

Well, I personally like sports forums the best. After that, entertainment forums are ok.

I like parenting, health, business related forums more than any other entertainment or political forums.

One thing I would say though, is that I have had fun on boards that had nothing to do with sports or entertainment because I already knew a few people on the board. So the actual focus of the board became secondary because I already had people to talk to.

I prefer forums with debate and discussions. I don't hang out much on sports forums (Except Cardinals Baseball!) and I never hang out on pick up boards.

The ones I dislike the most are those with heavy moderation (ok, moderation.) and profanity filters that treat people as though they were 4. If a s s can be said in a pg movie, it can be allowed on a forum. Forum owners, unless it's a forum designed for children, need to step back and not parent. They adults tend to find it annoying and will abandon said forum pretty fast.

I think forums has helped me understand the points of view of other people.
